The whole of UK job market is different from India. Given the current visa regulations, your relevant experience and capabilities are more valued and important in securing a job in UK. University's career service is vital in this scenario in giving the direction and updating latest developments to the Cohorts.
Strathclyde vs Aston MBA

My key recommendation is to go somewhere better than either Aston or Strathclyde: I think you can do that.
Unless your goal is specifically to work in India, I think Aston is better than Strathclyde. The central Birmingham location is better, the cohort is more diverse and their MBA allows formal specialisations.
Hello Duncan ,
Would you still agree on this? if I plan come back to India and find a job.
Regards,
Gaurav

I think Aston has slipped a bit since then, so Strathclyde or a better school will be the wise option for most students.

Strathclyde will slip from ft.com rankings next release....

Brexit is hurting most UK schools, but the recent MiF rankings show that Strathclyde graduates still do better than most in terms of career progress: http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/university-of-strathclyde-graduate-school-of-business/masters-in-finance-pre-experience-2018#masters-in-finance-pre-experience-2018 Indeed, it might fall out of the MBA ranking but it's consistently better at getting MBAs into work quickly than Cass, Edinburgh, Lancaster, Leeds, Manchester or Oxford.

Hi, I know this is an older thread but I wanted to see if there is anyone who is interested in applying to Strathclyde for 2019 intake. I will do so but I am also planning to apply to other schools like Loughborough and Leeds. I am not so interested in Aston. Who else is applying?

Strathclyde is going to (probably) be a better choice than those other schools you're applying to. What are your career goals?

Hi Hdalby30! I have applied for Strathclyde 2019 intake and will most probably accept the offer. Saying that, I am also now considering applying for Edinburgh after reading some posts on this site. Like you, I considered applying for Aston but decided against it in the end.
