The University of Edinburgh Business School is opening up its for-credit MBA electives, at a very low price. Ranked business schools typically charge around £1000 a day for executive education, and are rarely accredited, but these UEBS courses are £1500 for five or six days course: https://www.business-school.ed.ac.uk/about/events?tag_id=49
It's a great way to test the MBA experience and to build knowledge of 'hot topics' like investor psychology, entrepreneurship and M&A. The courses run over 5 or 6 days. Applicants need to apply at least a month in advance and meet the school's MBA admissions criteria.
Disclaimer: I'm a teaching assistant and PhD candidate at UEBS, but I'm not teaching this semester.
