I'm looking forward to pursuing an online mba. I know it's not as good as on-campus programs. But this is the most flexible option for me.
I found two programs; the Online MBA from Edinburgh Business School or Illinois MBA program on Coursera.
The Edinburgh program is offerered locally in the American University in Cairo, and there are options for on-campus attendance.
Which one do you believe is better?
Don't hesitate to suggest any better options. However, I can't afford expensive programs. Even those two programs are expensive for me. It would be great if any one can recommend a program that offers financial aid/ scholarships.

Not a hard choice. The Heriot Watt degree is not especially strong and lacks any of the three respected accreditation bodies, like AASCB. Illinois is a much better university, business school and MBA.

Another question if you don't mind.
Which is better to take the Illinois iMBA or to take a local MBA here in Egypt, like from ESLSCA or Arab Academy for sciences. They are much cheaper. Maybe they don't have a world reputation, but at least they have a good reputation in the local market.
Beyond this, would you recommend any online programs that offer scholarships/ financial aid?

This depends on your goals. If you want a world-class MBA, my recommendation is Illinois or one of the programmes mentioned on the thread I referred to. If you want a local school that has a good reputation, then ask yourself: a good reputation among whom? See the post about LinkedIn on my profile page.
I would say that if you want to be leader, innovator or entrepreneur a world-class MBA with top accredition like Illinois will transform your ability to act as a confident executive. On the other hand with ESLSCA, which lacks meaningful accredition and (seemingly mistakenly) calls itself a grande ecole you will never learn more than you could do in a library. As management training, it is hugely inferior to a much cheaper alternative like the Maryland MBA core Micromasters.
