MSc International Business and management is a brilliant course offered by MBS...Its far far better than MBus in Global Business Analysis. In 2007, MSc-IBM clocked 74% recruitment where as MBus-GBA only 54%. Neither MSc-IBM or MBus is AMBA accredited.
Sheffield U (an original red brick uni) is a decent Uni but located at an obscure location. My cousin is studying medicine at Sheffield and she tells some nice things about it. But then business education is altogether a different ball game.
Sheffield MBA is AMBA accredited and is engaged in the review process with AACSB and is currently undergoing evaluation by the EQUIS team. So I suspect very soon like Durham and Henley it can be triple accredited. Being so will reduce the recognition gap between Sheffield and Manchester.
Location for Sheffield is on a big negative side but all other looks to be on a positive side/upward trend. Investing in Sheffield MBA seems to be a good investment decision if you can shun the big city charms like that of Manchester.
All the best.
