London School Of Business and Finance MBA

I almost made a mistake of trying to see what LSBF has to offer. I contacted the campus to learn about their program and was given a personal advisor who responded to my queries very promptly until I inquired who validates and accredits the degrees. He mentioned it was the University of Wales. I knew from my googling around that the University of Wales has been abolished (Oct 2011) due to numerous scandals and have effectively withdrawn all its accreditations!!! I asked him what happens now, and lo and behold, the silence treatment!! Beware - before its too late!!!

Hi sassan, I can not say anything about the IBC as I never heard of them before. But you have to be aware that the Middlesex University is just validating the degree, the content will be delivered by the IBC.

Sassan and Sweetowski, sorry buy you are very incorrect here. I've spoken to Middlesex University and the course is validated and delivered by them. They are working with IBC to bring commercial oil and gas focus to the course as well as the usal academic content, so to me it sound a lot better than many other oil gas mba providers who are only academic. I've taken some of IBC other oil and gas course via my company and really really good. My company is looking to sponsor some people on the MBA due to the reputation IBC have for quality and they think better than others. Have a look at IBC as well their address is www.ibc-academy.com . You should be careful to get fact right! Steve

That is true, have to apologize here. Don't remember how it looked like 3 months ago, but maybe I just overlooked the big "delivered and validated by Middlesex University".

The London School of Business and Finance Global MBA now has validation. After the closure of the University of Wales it's now offering the London Met MBA (http://www.londonmet.ac.uk/pgprospectus/courses/master-of-business-administration.cfm) at a 17% premium (http://www.lsbf.org.uk/students/fees-funding.html).

LSBF has greater marketing resources, of course. But which folk here would rather study at London Met rather than at LSBF?

There is a difference in fees. LSBF is much cheaper than London Met. for the same program
