Brexit.
I believe the UK government should have a more open immigration to allow talented students a pathway to work and potential PR like Canada or Australia.
Even in the US where orangutan is leading his revolt, there are MBA that are STEM certified to allow students to stay 3 years following graduation

I'm not sure that immigration pathways are as important to EMBA applicants as they would be for full-timers. I see this more as a way for them to attract a better range of high-quality candidates for the EMBA, many of whom might not have the time to take the GMAT.
They're giving the waiver to people about whose quant skills they don't have to worry: those with c-suite experience in a heavily quantitative role, VPs, and those who've done master's studies in a quant field or have qualifications like a CPA.
