help for choosing MBA

rith

Hi,

I have an offer from the University of Birmingham and Exeter for MBA for the Sept 2011 intake.

Could you please suggest which is better in terms of quality of the education, the value and the job prospect?

Thanks,
Rith

Birmingham is normally ranked around 75th worldwide, and in the top dozen in the UK, in the FT rankings (http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/global-mba-rankings-2011). It is on an upward trend. Exeter is one of the 50 accredited programmes in the UK and Ireland, but I think it's not on the same level as Birmingham in any way.

Thanks so much for the information.

However, FT and Economist are the only ones which have Birmingham in the TOP 15 in UK. Whereas the Guardian and the Sunday Times and other UK ranking sites rank Exeter better than Birmingham.

Could you please share your view on this?

The Guardian and Times do not rank MBA programmes. If you would like to take an undergraduate degree then their rankings are useful. But to choose an MBA programme, then use MBA rankings.
