Hi all,
First i would like to say this is the most place where i have found alot of information regarding mba programs, universities reputation , etc
So iam 28 years old with pharmaceutical background and currently iam working as medical representative in nestle with overall experience 5 years
Currently i live and work in saudi arabia and i have decided to take DL mba as there is no good schools here
My intentions from getting an mba is career advance to marketing as associate brand manager in UAE or saudi arabia as its the first step in most of the companies i have worked for.
I love to learn alot and enhance my skills and i love the research method to get alot of informations
Currently i have an offer from durham dl mba and waiting for bradford response
Regarding those schools i have done alot of research and read alot of threads here but i cannot decide whether getting an mba would support me for my intentions or not
And which school is better regarding the delivery of the modules (i have tried DUO sample and its great but iam afraid as it depends alot on discussion form and maybe my peers will not share their experience so it will be a waste of time)
Bradford have electives in marketing and dubai campus but i dont know or tried their Virtual learning experience
So any ideas ? :)
PS i have taken one module from EBS Heriot watt university and as duncan mentioned thats not an accredited school i donot know why people spend their money on it all of the study you will be on your own and the text book is bad written but has lots of information
Thank you & appreciate your feedback and experience with my questions

A lot of this will come down to the value of the Alumni network. In that respect, Bradford and Strathclyde seem like the best options for your target countries. Bradford's having a harder time than Strathclyde, which is reflected in pricing, but the quality of the programmes are similar. The big difference is that Bradford more has optional courses , which I think also better meets your needs.

Thanks duncan for your reply and sharing your valuable experience.
You mean by strathclyde mba the executive one in bahrain? If so i have just sent them an email to inquire about how many seminars i will be attending per month as it will be a 5 hour drive by car from riyadh to bahrain
And if you mean by strathclyde the distance learn program do you think i will have the same alumni network by DL ?
Also regarding strathclyde i didnot appear in FT 2017 neither for executive MBA as it appear in FT 2016 ranking 41 so what do you think about this drop in rankings?
regarding bradford what do you mean by hard times they are facing
Finally do you think that durham online mba will not secure me a job in UAE as it has low alumni network in middle east although it is supposed to have a good reputation
Thank you

I think Strathclyde teaches its EMBA in Bahrain, Oman, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. So you have some choices. Rankings depend a lot of participation rates, I would not be too concerned about years when it does not appear but the ranking when it does appear will be useful.
Bradford has been affected by the fall in Indian students coming to the UK, on whom it has overdepended. It recently suspended its full time MBA.
