Hi all,

I have got an offer for MBA from University of Aberdeen and for an MSc Management from University of Edinburgh.

I am really confused which one choose because an MBA is a world recognized degree and if I have to come back to India, getting a job wud be relatively easier as compared to having a degree in MSc Management and applying for a job.

On the other hand, Edinburgh is a world renowned university, amongst the top Universities in the world. If I have to apply for jobs there in UK, getting a job wud be easier if I have degree from a renowned university. Moreover, Edinburgh is the such a beautiful city!!

My Profile:
Bachelor in Engineering from DCE (top engineering clg in India) and a work ex of 2 yrs with Motorola.

Wat do you suggest? Aberdeen or Edinburgh?

Will suggest you to go for Aberdeen MBA program......
You know...some of the premier univ are struggling to hold a position in FT rankings...I think there is no point to hesitate...

I think its not a tough call....A MSC from LBS Vs Aberdeen MBA would be a tough call.......I think your case is easy...

Aberdeen have some accre...like AACSB and AMBA........

Who knows.......Aberdeen may also join in FT rankings next year........becoz promising schools like Leeds,Nottingham has lost its position........and univ like Brad,EBS etc are hanging in the tail portion...We dont know when it will fall.......

So need not waste your time......
