Hi, what are your thoughts on Hult?
MBA reco with low GMAT

Try searching the board for Hult and coming back with a specific question. If your goal is employment in the country where you study, then I don't see Hult as a strong option.

I see mixed perspectives.
Id like to compare Hult MBA London v Cranfield MSc Strategic Marketing v Lancaster MSc Advanced Marketing Management v UIC MS Marketing ?
in terms of learning, skill growth and ROI based on job opps in the location.

Also comparing with postgraduate certificates from Canadian colleges like Humber etc. which in my research are not really learning based but more immigration tools?
Posted Aug 03, 2022 12:29
I won't labour on about the superiority about courses more directly aligned to functional shortages than these generic options. I think Hult will be an interior placement option than those two MSc options, since those are top-tier programmes. I don not believe the UIC programme has federal STEM designation so I would instead recommend one with STEM certification, like Simon.
The PGcerts are, as you say, immigration vehicles. Salaries will be lower but they are effective.

Hi!
thanks for your inputs as always.
I’m wondering - since my interest lies in tech as well as marketing and design, if I should consider UX strategy and/or product marketing as a field?
any recos on specific masters catered to these skills?
Posted Aug 04, 2022 16:38
Take a book at the options I list here:
https://find-mba.com/board/uk-ireland/strathclyde-vs-cass-vs-bath-69493#post-id-69758
For UX design, the HCI MScs at City, Birmingham, St Andrews and York are worth considering, and I would also look at Loughborough. Southampton and Newcastle.

Thanks!
Do you have any info on which have an intake in January
Posted Aug 04, 2022 18:24
LOL. You can work that out yourself pretty easily. Generally, it's only the former polytechnics that recruit in January rather than the traditional universities I have recommended.

Thanks!! Appreciate your inputs!

Hi!
Following up on your advice, I was wondering if another strategy to approach a masters can be an industry specific one? For Eg. My domain expertise lies in Hospitality so considering a Travel and Tourism Msc to learn in depth about the industry vs a generalist MBA?
Posted Aug 16, 2022 13:46
Take a look at https://find-mba.com/lists/top-business-schools-for-tourism-hospitality-leisure and https://find-mba.com/specializations/tourism-hospitality-leisure?accredition=true&sort=popularity&numberperpage=12 Hospitality has a huge talent shortage but salaries have been low.

Is this list updated?
wondering why a Google search for Ashridge brings up Hult?
Posted Aug 17, 2022 22:36
Ashridge merged into Hult several years ago. It is now the executive education arm of Hult. So that must be eithet a very old page or a lazily updated one (given the reference to the pandemic).

Suggestion on Grenoble Msc Marketing?
Posted Aug 22, 2022 14:02
See: Do you need to speak the local language? www.find-mba.com/board/34713
A foreigner will probably not get a French marketing job immediately after an English-language degree if they did not speak French to a professional standard before the degree.

Hi Duncan, I saw your post on Top Accredited MBA schools in India. I don't see SP Jain Institute of Management Studies in the list, i.e. different from SP Jain School of Global Management.
Please share your thoughts.
