TEMPLE UNIVERSITY VS WARWICK

Dear All,

I got offer letters from Temple University, Fox School of business, Philadelphia for MS/Innovation management & Entrepreneurship and in Warwick for MS Management.

All ranking show Warwick is a better university than Temple but What I want to know is about the career opportunities.

Can you please tell me which course among MS/innovation management and MS Management offers better career opportunities??
They are from two different countries, so studying in which place would be more useful in terms of finding a better job??

It would be of great if you can help me with this. Please help me out.

Sree :)

I think the main difference is between the school, the format and the students, rather than the course topic. Temple University's MS in Innovation management & Entrepreneurship is aimed at part-time students (often online) who typically don't need career services. Warwick's is a full-time course in which every student is expected to use the careers services.

What kind of post-MBA career goals did you have in mind? If you don't already have residency in the US, and want to work in the country, I would think that the Temple program is probably not the most effective option for that route. During your OPT period, you'd be competing with other international students who have done MBA programs and top-tier MS programs when you hit the job market, and like Duncan mentioned this program is aimed at those who aren't looking for a lot of career support. Plus, after the OPT period, there's this whole other issue of the visa lottery:

If you want to be employed as a manager, then the curriculum of a masters in management is better. If you want to be an entrepreneur or product manager, then the IME course looks better.
