Look for a good executive MBA program that fits your future aspirations. Executive programs allow you to attend classes in a compressed format on the weekends or over short residency periods. Think of it as the Reserves of MBA programs, "One weekend a month, two weeks each year!" Executive programs try to recruit experienced candidates who want to continue working while getting an MBA. Most programs advertise that they are seeking executive level managers for the program, but in the interest of diversity, many of them also want to have students with different backgrounds such as engineering or IT services.
I am currently enrolled in the Goethe Business School executive MBA program in alliance with Duke University. Most of the courses take place on the West End campus of Frankfurt University. There are also three foreign residencies in Shanghai, Hyderabad, and at Duke University. I am very pleased with the level of instruction and the international exposure.
There are many other executive style programs out there to choose from. While the Goethe program was best for my situation, you may find another program better suited for you. I would recommend doing a search for executive programs and read about the different options that are out there. If you have any questions about a particular program, come back here and someone will likely be able to answer them for you. If you share more information about your profile (location, willingness to travel for school, time frame, qualifications, etc.) then we may be able to provide some advice as well.
Good luck.
