MSc or MBA

ana13

Hello,
I would welcome your advice.

I came from a non-business background (Bachelor in French Language and Literature and Master in Education). The past 3.5 years I have working in the aviation industry, in a large airline, as a cabin crew staff.

-Having the intention to change my career, I would like to do a master in business related objects, in the near future(I hope for January '18 intake).
Do you think it is better for me to do a MSc in specialized program (ex. Marketing, Management) or to do a MBA?

- Furthermore, I think about the Part-Time EMBA program of Strathclyde Business School- to international centers(is about a general MBA with no specialization, I think) as I have been accepted, or Msc in Management(with internship) or MSc Marketing in Brunnel University(Jan.intake).
Which option you think is better? Any other suggestions about programs that starts in January? Unfortunately, schools like London Business School, INSEAD, LSE are not affordable for me at the moment.

Do you think this universities help me to work after graduation for a top company(like IT-tech companies or consulting firms)? I would like to work in London, or, generally, in Europe. To sum up, the network of university is, also, a valuable factor for me.

Thank you.

Look on my profile page for a link to a list of what starts when. EDHEC, RSM and Whu come to mind.

Thank you, I will check it.

At this phase, which of the two degrees do you think that is more suitable for me and a stronger choice for the business market, a specialized MSc or a more general MBA?

Well, I think that depends on your goals. Considering that an MBA is rather similar in price but has a broader reach, as well as signalling your higher quality, then an MBA is better. I do think a full-time MBA might be better for you.
