MiM: one more broken Economist ranking
Posted May 26, 2017 11:59
Half of the world's top MiM programmes are missing from the latest ranking from The Economist (http://www.economist.com/whichmba/MiM/2017/Ranking). Expectations are already low for their rankings, but their list of the top 40 misses out half of the top schools, including London Business School, ESCP Europe and WU Vienna: all of those are ranked in the top 10 by the Financial Times. Other shocking lapses are Bocconi, EBS, IIM-A, IIM-B, IIM-C, UCD, Audencia and Iéseg.
In total 24 of the FT's top 40 schools don't get into the Economist's ranking.

The Economist is never to be taken for serious. I hardly read the magazine which is a variety mix of poorly biased ill-informed and not well thought out pieces.
They never come any where close to the more serious newspaper like Financial Times or The Guardian or New York Times or Washington Post.

Really random - that Commerce program from the University of Virginia is #2, but Kellogg's MSMS program is nowhere to be found? Weird.
