I have done my B-tech in electronics and communication engineering. My GMAT score is 590 and my IELTS 8 and I have got a 1 year work ex. If I plan for GMAT now (to give it again) then I will have to wait for next year fall which I don't want to do. Please tell me whether UD has a good reputation as I have got my acceptance letter from here.

U Dallas has AACSB accrediation, making it well above average. It's not an excellent school, but to get into a really strong school you'd need a higher GMAT, more work experience, or both.

Some other schools to consider might be:
Ball State University (BSU)
University of Central Florida (UCF)
University of Portland (UP)
Oklahoma State University - (OSU)
Northern Illinois University (NIU)
University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO)
University of Massachusetts - Lowell (UML) [this might be a stretch, but it a strong school for you]
University of Maine (UMO)

Which schools rejected you?

I am in the same Dilemma should I join the University of Dallas Irvine or not. I have 7 years of work experience in IT and a GRE score of 300, although this score is not even needed by this university I understand. Currently I am concerned about the nature of their MBA program - a 30 credit hour plan with no specialization, they call is New MBA. I thought their old MBA with concentration program was better. would you recommend this as a good institute for my kind of profile?
