MBA in Strahclyde university Oman Vs Manchester business school Dubai

Fouad Gh

Hello everyone,
Could somebody help me plz.
I have been accepted in the 2 mba programs, otherwise I base in muscat and strathclyde is closer to me just 15 min with car. The issue that I find manchester is high ranked more than strathclyde but I didnt find any reviews about MBS program in Dubai, and since Im going to invest my money,I would like to choose the best. Considering that MBS fees are 40000$ while strahclyde are 23000.
Regards.

They're both good programs. To some extent you're paying for the Manchester brand name - that school has a bigger footprint and name recognition than Strath.

I would poke around at the companies you are looking to work for in the future and see if they're aware of Strathclyde, and if they hire MBAs from that program. Check LinkedIn too to see how many alumni from each school are working in Dubai. That should give you a good idea of career prospects and support networks.

Thank you badux,
as i said earlier i live in muscat, the best program available here is the one from strathclyde, the other ones are not acredited. Also what confused me about manchester is that you will have only 2 weeks per 2 years face to face learning(workshops...),and the remaining are online learning.I'm afraid of online learning.otherwise in strathclyde,it is face to face twice per week with one intensive course once per month.but still that manchester is highly ranked compared with strathclyde.

Hi Fouad,

I am in a very similar situation. Highly appreciate if you could mention which MBA you chose and why. Thanks.
