Hult MIB vs Cass MSc Management

ChitraR

Hi

I'm Chitra. I have a little less than 2years of work experience as a Data Scientist in an Indian startup.

I got admission into HULT Boston (MIB). At that point I had not applied elsewhere and thus paid and reserved my seat.
Later I took the GMAT(610) and applied to a couple of colleges. I received an offer from Cass Business School (MSc management ), Durham (MSc management ) and Strathclyde (MBM).

I have also applied to Imperial College and London Business School both for MSc management . Cass deadline expires in 2days and they are not willing to give an extension.

What should I do? Is HULT MIB better than Cass MSc ? Please correct me if I'm wrong to have assumed Cass was my best option amongst Strathclyde, Durham and Cass. I don't know what my chances are for LBS and Imperial as it is a bit late in the admissions process.

From a the research that I have done I realize that most people do not seem to have a very good opinion about HULT. After studies I want to work in either India or Singapore in my current Industry.

Please help.

Yes, I think Cass is a much better option for most students, though Strathclyde is also quite strong. The strong alternative isn't Hult, but one of the Singaporean schools. If you want to work in Asia, why study on the Atlantic?

Thanks a lot Duncan!

I had applied to the 3 major colleges in Singapore and have received an telephonic interview call from SMU (MSc Management). I had also applied to NUS and Nanyang for the MBA programme. But I don't think I will make it with my relatively low GMAT and short work experience( just 2 years at the time of joining).

I'm not sure if I would be able to get a seat in SMU, Singapore. But if I do, would it value more than a degree from Cass?

Since you want to work in Singapore, yes, SMU will be a better choice for you than Cass.

Thanks Duncan

You cleared most of the doubts I had.
I think I'll go with Cass since it is obviously the more reputable one and also since SMU hasn't given me an offer yet.

Chitra
