Hi, I am VP of Sales in an Information Technology in my mid 40's based out of USA. I am planning to pursue online MBA and looking at some Business schools in UK which are accredited globally and economically good. My goal is to do DBA utlimately, please advise if this is the right approach as the suggestion from many of my colleagues is on doing Online MBA and suggesting to go with Part time/EMBA which is expensive and may help jump in career. Pls advise

Why not choose an online/distance one with the option to attend lectures in person? This would give you best of both worlds I think. In the UK it is fairly common, Warwick, Durham etc do this not sure about the US schools but might be worth looking into.

If you want to do a doctorate, maybe look for an online masters in research, or at least one with a major research project rather than an MBA .
Am an MBA finishing off my PhD in business. MBA didn't help as much as basic social science methodology.
