I think you're a competitive candidate at pretty much any school if you apply early.
Kellogg and MIT are very different schools. What are you looking for?

Hi, please help me to evaluate my profile as bellow for 2014 intake.
PERSONAL
? Female, 27 in 2014
? Vietnamese citizen, studying and working in Singapore since 18 years-old
EDUCATION
? GMAT: 750 first attempt (51Q, 40V, 5.5Writing)
? GPA: 4.66 / 5.0, first class honor, electrical engineering
? Undergraduate (NUS Singapore, top 3 Asia, top ~30-40 worldwide): best undergrad researcher, innovation award, dean lists and some other awards.
? High school (in Vietnam): best student of the school, 2nd prize in Maths national exam.
WORKING EXPERINCE
? 5 years experience in 2014
? Design engineer (electrical, IC chips), hopefully to get promoted this year to senior design engineer
? Company size: ~5000 employees worldwide, ~250 employees in Singapore
? Design circuits, well time-management, lead some projects, also serve technical support for customers.
? Minus point: internal customers, no idea how much profit my projects generated for the company (I know business schools like to ask this kind of questions, but generally engineers do not know this information)
EXTRA-CURRICULUM ACTIVITY:
? NUS Singapore student-fund president (~44 members, raise funds for needy students), Engineering club, Electrical Engineering club, and some other positions, awards.
? Minus point: no extra-curriculum activity since I started working (I use my free time to enroll Chinese classes)
OTHERS:
? Beside English, Vietnamese, I know Chinese (read & write well, ok with communication)
? Minus point: not excellent in writing essay & interview.
Please comment on my candidacy, as well as recommend business schools as categorized below.
? Stretch schools: 20-30% chance but it?s worth to give it a try
? Match schools: 50-60% chance
? Safe schools: probably I am able to get in
I?m interested in Kellogg (normal MBA or MMM) and MIT Sloan. Are these 2 schools stretch schools or match schools?
Thank you so much.

Wow your profile is amazing. Someone with 750 gmat and good knowledge of both English and Chinese would be a very interesting candidate for any top notch business school. But why you want to limit yourself with US only think about UK and more specifically London, believe me London is an amazing place to study, work and party.

Hi JK Duncan, thank you so much for your reply. My intended post MBA career is either hi-tech industry/ manufacturing/ operations (MIT) or general management (Kellogg). I am not fascinated about finance due to its long working hours (as what i heard). I enjoy close-knit and highly cooperative environment, therefore i choose MIT & Kellogg.
Could you recommend me some schools? I'm thinking to apply to 5 schools: 1 stretch school, 2 match schools, and 2 safe schools.
I know Tuck MBA is also an excellent program but its brand-name is not very strong here in Asia (or maybe because i'm not from business background, i never heard about Tuck)
You didnot answer my question. Why only US why not London. and dont be afraid of finance though it needs hardwork but rewards are endless.

Hi davidsmart, haha, i do answer, i was typing when you replied another post. Thanks and looking forward to your advice!!!
You can also look at German Business School. They have made considerable changes to their post study visa policy. After you finsih MBA you will get 18 months visa to find a job. If you got a job and spend couple of more years you will get PR. In UK you can stay only if you find a job where employer has to sponsor you, but i believe with your profile and if you get to any top business school in UK, finding a job will not be a worry.

I suggest you think as specifically as possible about the post-MBA career you'd like to have.
Looking at the top US schools, I think Duke and Northwestern are were you would be the easiest admit. Chicago and Berkeley might also be very interested in you. MIT will be your stretch school.
Looking a little lower, Michigan or Cornell would be safe schools.

Sloan is a stretch school because you are less likely to be offered a seat at Sloan than you are Kellogg. I'm [not] necessarily saying that one school is better than the other: they have their strengths and weaknesses. But Sloan, because of its quant strength, attracts a lot more applicants per seat, and with high GMAT scores.
PS Ooops! I added in the rather important word in brackets, [not].
