Brunel vs Strathclyde

Dears,

Kindly your advice, what will be more powerful MBA from Brunel or Strathclyde ?
My main goal for relocation to England or Australia but I couldn’t go to a degree in Australia due to relatively high cost.

Sincerely

Yes, Strathclyde is much better positioned - I don't think Brunel is ranked anywhere, while Strathclyde appears in both the FT Global MBA Ranking and the Economist MBA Ranking. However, if you want to work in Australia there are clearly better options than an MBA from Strathclyde.

Please do your research and ensure you get answers to all your questions. Strathclyde is unlikely to be in FT Top 100 in the coming years! (IMO)

I looked for 'MBA' on LinkedIn for the schools with most alumni in the UK (of course they could have taken MBAs elsewhere and the search would still hit them), and then looked to see how many alumni they had in Australia, adding in also Brunel and Strathclyde and parent schools where business schools had separate entries. The numbers are very small but here is the ranking:
INSEAD

London Business School

University of Cambridge

Cranfield University

Cranfield School of Management

Brunel University London

The University of Manchester

Alliance Manchester Business School

University of Strathclyde

Strathclyde Business School.

At your price point, Cranfield does stand out as an alternative. Unlike the Brunel alumni, most of the Cranfield alumni studied there for their MBA.

Not a bad bet, considering the school's huge drop in the FT rankings over the past few years. 63 --> 80 --> 98

At this rate they won't be there in 2019...

Still, I'd take Strathclyde over Brunel, even if it does drop out of the ranking next year.
