3 month internship with a luxury brand?

Nisha555

Hi..

Does anybody have any contact or idea as to interning with a luxury brand in India or abroad? I will be pursuing my MA in Luxury brand management at EBS, London in Jan and thought may be this would be a good start.

Thanks.

hey! i stumbled upon your post and i had same question. Have you figured something out? Also i'm doing a bachelor of arts degree and i was interested in either doing an MBA in fashion marketing or a masters. Since you've already got into a school, would you please help me out with how to go about it and what schools even offer these programs

I would think that it would be a lot easier to find one through your school, because they'd leverage their network and resources. If you've tried contacting them and they won't help you, then you should contact the human resources department of the company you are interested in and pitch yourself.

haha - you're right Duncan, but as I hear people sometimes around here - "something's got to be better than nothing."

@ Shijani: Well the thing is i have 3 years of work ex so i think once you finish your study you should work for while and then pursue your MBA, it will definitely add more value. And nothing like havin the practical knowledge before you join the course of ur interest..always helps. That's the main reason why i would like to intern before i actually get down to studying.

Well as Ralph mentioned am speaking to people and mailing the HR contact of the companies am keen on interning.

But thats the thing, in india its so hard to find internships. i wanted to work with a magazine but since i have no experience in that field already and no contacts, its next to impossible.
i think im just going to go ahead and look for email ids of people working in the HR dept and email them my cv.
