Hello,
I have secured admission to HHL for the Sep 2012 intake.
I have a couple of level of Germans speaking experience, based in India and IT/SMB and Entrepreneurial Experience.
Some feedback for the citiy of Leipzig where these school is based, in addition to the course quality, will be useful. I look forward to hearing from members/students on this forum.
Thanks.
Would Like Some Additional Information about HHL

Search the discussion board for HHL and after reading come back with any specific questions which are unanswered.

Hi Duncan,
Yes, I have gone through all the posts on HHL. I have a very niche skillset (highly developed though) in digital marketing and technology. I wanted some feedback on would HHL help me secure a foot in the door in German companies handling their digital marketing portfolios or for specialised digital marketing and tech companies like Google, FB, etc.
I have beginner German (A2 level).
Secondly, how is Leipzig as a city to live, study, work and party for 12-15 months.

Also, I have an admit to Em Lyon and waitlisted on Mannheim, so trying to get as much info as possible on these schools, to make an informed decision

I would recommend Mannheim > HHL > Lyon (unless you have better French than German). Mannheim is better located and is a bigger school, with more niche specialisation.
HHL is a great school for general management. Leipzig has a lively, pretty city centre and is a great place to be a student. The suburbs are rough and racist, which is true across much of the other former Warsaw Pact countries.

Hi,
Manheim should be your choice if you wish to work in Europe after your MBA & would need help from the school's Careers Department as most students do.

Hi Duncan/Others.
Just got an offer from Mannheim. Your thoughts about the school, a bit torn between the two schools as well as cities.
Your thoughts can be useful.
Cheers

I don't have anything valuable to add to what you can read at http://www.find-mba.com/university/565/mannheim-business-school-mbs/discussions and I still recommend Mannheim over HHL. As a city, die Quadratestadt is much nicer and the warm climate will also be much easier for you.
