Which Executive MBA to choose?

New_MBA

Hello all,

I am new to the board and thinking that this is a great advice. At the moment I am looking forward to apply for an Executive MBA starting in 2015. Therefore I would like to hear you opinion which programme would be the best.

Following programs got my attention:

HHL - Global Excecutive MBA
Mannheim Business School - MANNHEIM & TONGJI Executive MBA
Ashridge: Part-time Executive MBA
Strathclyde - Strathclyde Executive MBA - International
Henley - Flexible Executive MBA

Manchester as well, but here it would be the Part Time Global MBA

So what do you guys think about these programmes from a general point of view?

Best regards and thanks in advance

Hello Duncan,

thanks for your response, I was looking forward for a reply from your side.

ATM I am working as a Commercial Project Manager in Sales in a big global company in the Energy sector in Germany. Former experiences were f.e. Assistant to chairman of the board. From an educational background, I have got a Bachelor in Business.

My ultimate goal would be to work in a General Management position related to Strategy & Sales.

If you have further questions, don't be afraid to ask for.

Thank you for your support.

I would scan through the networks of each of these schools and see how each program matches up with your career expectations. I'd imagine that each of these will have country-focused networks.

You're probably aware that the HHL, Henley, and Strathcylde programs are ranked in the FT EMBA ranking...

Hi Ezra,

thank you for you response. At the moment I am definitely scanning via Linked In to see which program fits the best.

I am aware of the ranking aspect. Mannheim is listed in the FT EMBA ranking as well with the Mannheim/Essec EMBA. I guess the Mannheim/Tongji one is too young to be considered. Could I aspect a similar ranking for future rankings once they are considered?

Best regards and thanks.
