Yes, there are not many private colleges in Germany, and the SRH Hochschule Heidelberg is one of them. It was founded in 1969 as a Venture for Occupational Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons and started to teach conventional masters' degrees in 2001. I don't think that it's very well known, and I don't think that students there will have very different outcomes from the state-run Hochschules.

Hi duncan,
I want to pursue masters in international management. But I dont think SRH heidelberg is a good option. I think future prospects are not good there.. In my bachelors i have poor grades. So, i have dropped my plan to study in germany as i got around 10 rejections. I am trying france now... may be grenoble is a good one.. I have 2 yrs of work experience in Information technology field.. R there any chances getting admit from grenoble france with poor grades?

You'd be much better off going to one of these schools: http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/masters-in-management-2012 Indeed, it is a private school, and not an especially well-known one.

Hi JK Duncan
Yes I have gone through this list earlier,
I am Management graduate (degree in Management), and I am planning for Masters now.
Got work experience of 2yrs.
.. I applied to couple of univeristy
got acceptance from
SRH Berlin
and
IMB Institute of Management Berlin.
Wanted to know is it really worth to join SRH Berlin - Dont wont to regret later as fees is high.

I'm not sure that SRH will be great experience. IMB has the huge benefit of AMBA accreditation for its MBA as well as 20 years of experience: that quality will be reflected in some way in the MSc. I don't see why you would chose SRH over the IMB.
But why not apply to some of the schools on the FT list? Berlin is a rather poor city, by German standards, and work opportunities would be better in the west.

There is also the ESMT MBA program in Berlin - it's AACSB and AMBA-accredited and has a fairly strong reputation.
Otherwise, there are not many great and internationally-accredited MBA programs in Berlin; and job opportunities in the city will be quite limited since there isn't much industry. Maybe check out other cities - Mannheim (Mannheim Business School), Düsseldorf (WHU) - maybe even Leipzig (HHL).
