Rotterdam vs ESMT

Hello,

I have been validating a few MBA programs. I have a background in IT and want to continue to work in IT or move in to analytics post MBA, hopefully on the consulting side. I have been struggling between Rotterdam and ESMT. I know ESMT has an analytics track and is focused on technology but the program is very new.

The MBA from ESMT has been around for a while (15 years or so). Do you need to do an analytics-specific program? Most managers don't need a lot of technical training in analytics, but more specialist roles might. What are your goals?

I have an IT background and have been working for 9 years in that field. I grew pretty quickly but later hit a plateau that has been going in for a few years. I decided to get an MBA but would like to get stay in technology and on the consulting side post mba and I believe that analytics field has a lot of growth potential. I am honestly a bit lost if it is best to do a general mba like rotterdam and learn different areas of business or stay focused on technology and go into ESMT.

Any type of help or guidance would greatly help!

Why not study in Spain? IE has a great Master in Business Analytics and Big Data, not to mention a solid Full Time MBA.
