hello hehni,
If you are looking for American style programs, there are quite a few MBAs offered by Us and Canadian schools in Central/Eastern Europe: Try
http://www.find-mba.com/university/433
http://www.find-mba.com/university/616
http://www.find-mba.com/university/225
CEU in Budapest also has a good reputation as far as I know. Hope that helps!

I've heard good things from a friend who goes to Europa-Universität Viadrina. It's officially in Germany, but it is RIGHT on the border with Poland, and apparently have quite a number of students from there. They also teach in English there.

i know that some of these programmess might be of high quality. but does anybody know if these new programmes in #new# europe have any international reputation or standing yet? do some specialise on east european business. in the future I want to work in north america or western europe, so i want to be careful about choosing a international-recognised programme in the east.

Yes, Warsaw Univ of Technology
MBA Partnership with LBS and HEC

I must warn you though, this is one of the top quant universities in Europe.. Every year their IT students win programming competitions over their peers from MIT, Stanford, Carnegie Mellon and others.

Warsaw School of Economics is the best one in Central Europe (no business school from Eastern Europe managed to enter the ranking). They have Canadian and American MBAs and French "Master International de Management et d?Economie" - MBA-like programme organised jointly with the HEC Paris. The French programme is going to evolve into MBA (as well as the price -> 14.000 EUR :-)

In Polish MBA rankings, the best programmes are at:
- Warsaw School of Economics
- University of Warsaw
- Warsaw University of Technology Business School

Other prestigious business schools in Central Europe are:
- Vienna University of Economics
- Corvinus University in Budapest
