Hello,
I'm looking to enrol a well recognized MBA in finance, would anyone know a good one in europe?
Living in Luxembourg, am thinking to apply to the Sacred Heart University, which is accredited AACSB, with a good program in finance
Has anyone heard about this school? Can someone advise me whether this mba is worth it
Really appreciate your feedback
thanks a lot

Hello Ronny,
if you are looking for a well recognized school, that would also be known internationally, then there are two things you should search for: the first - more then one of the three most important accreditation(AASCB, EQUIS, and AMBA) and also a good ranking from one of the important ranking bodies.
i wouldn't say that this is a very well recognized school, but if you are planing to stay in Luxembourg, then you should try to asses the local reputation - try and contact alumni, or look up the companies recruiting from this school.
if you are still confused, try and read this article in BW about Top finance MBA schools - although it is about schools in the USA, the basic guidelines are true everywhere.

Thanks Borism,
that's was helpful, the problem is that I don't think I wanna stay in Lux for long and is it true that you should mainly do a MBA in the country you wish to work in?
I'm pretty much willing to go anywhere in Europe to do a good MBA;
but before I'll study for the GMAT (that looks like not simple at all) and according to my score, I'll then see where can I apply for a mba, what do you think? Any advise to perform well in gmat? (I've already bought the book cracking the GMAT)
Again I appreciate your advices
Thank u

Hi Ronny,
Although it is always good to do the MBA in the country you want to work in, if you take a good MBA program, from a top school that's ranked and accredited, it would help you find a job anywhere.
if you are not planing on staying in Lux, then i would strongly recommend finding a good program elsewhere in Europe.
and as for the GMAT - some people find it easier to take a preparation course. although normally not cheap, it is nothing in comparison to the general sum you will have to come up with for the MBA, and it can help you get a better score, which would help to get in to a good program.
