HTW Berlin - MBA&E
Does anyone have information about this program?
It's accredited from ACQUIN and AQAS
But what I'm trying to find is stats of the job placement and average salaries of its graduates.
Any information can be useful, the program is mentioned in a couple of previous discussions but I wasn't able to find the information I'm looking for.

I don't think these data are collected. Averages would not be very useful since the outcomes will differ so hugely between those who do, and do not, speak German.

I would guess around 35000 euro a year for German speakers.

Of course, but this applies to any program in Germany.
While for example, several discussions mention a range of 50 -55 K for graduates of Pforzheim HS.
I'm looking for this kind of info for HTW MBA&E.

Thanks Duncan,
This means there's a significant difference between graduates of Pforzheim MBA and HTW Berlin in terms of salaries,
Do you think this is mainly due to the salaries difference between Berlin and South Germany? Or is it that more related to differences between the 2 programs?

Both, but mostly to the programmes and the selected students.

I have observed the range for non-EU students hover between 55-65K( Including Mannheim). Duncan is it just a coincidence or norm in Germany .

No, I think it reflects the salary thresholds for the Blue Card, which I think are around 39,000 for "shortage" (STEM and medicine) roles and 50,000 for most roles. That's why graduates from most unranked schools end up in STEM roles: without the higher level of training allowing them to command a managerial salary, they can only take STEM roles. Given the increasing supply of skilled labour, these figures will tend to be the minimum level for compensation.

But wouldn't an MBA from Mannheim/ HHL will help grads get a better salary ?I can understand if the school isn't in top 5 of Germany .

It does. The average MBA starting salary at Mannheim is around 70,000 (for example). Even for MSc graduates at HHL, it's 57,000. However, it's to be expected that those international students who don't take the time to learn fluent professional German normally take a discount on that average if they want to find work.

PS Of course, these salaries rise faster from the top schools. Top MBA alumni who speak German can expect to earn over 90,000 after a few years. HTW graduates will be earning close to half that.
