Hi there,

First of all, I would only consider the top schools in the German speaking world: Mannheim, St. Gallen (Switzerland), WHU, Goethe. Beware of the smaller "Fachhochschulen" and second-tier schools like EBS or ESMT. The job market in Germany is not as much affected by the crisis as in many countries and IT experts still have good chances to find a job. However, at least a basic knowledge of German is required for nearly any job in Germany.

I agree with JohnnyL about the top schools in Germany. I would add one more to the list of schools to consider. If you're going to include St. Gallen in Switzerland, then you may also want consider WU in Vienna as a possibility. The programs at WU have international recognition among the top schools in Europe.

The job market in Germany looks really strong right now. Unemployment has reached a 18-year low: http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/4aad862e-e27b-11df-9ea3-00144feabdc0.html

I'm an mechanical engineer from Eastern Europe with three years managerial work experience in a MNC. I speak English and some basic German.

Which German MBA program would you suggest to land a job in management in Germany/Europe?

EBS is quite good. I recently read a story about an American who moved to Germany to study MBA in EBS.
