Did anyone previously study or known some one studied at cologne business school. I have an offer from CBS to pursue an MBA, and I am just curious to get to know some one from there, as on the internet there are not many reviews on the study experience at the CBS.

please share your experience and information

Note: CBS business school is not related to University of COlogne management.

It is a small school and not well-known outside Cologne. Their MBA is a pre-experience 'freshers' course for people without an undergraduate degree in economics/business. I would expect that career outcomes here will be inferior to MSc programmes at the better German business schools.

I think this depends on your goals. If you cannot work at a professional standard in German, then these will be inferior choices to an intensive language course followed by a free MSc at a state University for people who want to work in Germany.

Hi Duncan,

Thank you for your reply.

I have 3 years of experience as of now. I am planning for MBA in Germany. My main constraints are that my budget is upto 25,000 euros and I am currently at A1 level German. If I am taking this September intake, I am planning for pforzheim or CBS. For EBS and ESB I am planning for next year so that I can work on my German. Can you please suggest me the order of the mentioned universities according to their reputation in job market and in the terms of job prospects. I am planning to get a job in Germany and settle there after my studies. Please suggest.

Thank you

ESB is probably better than EBS but I would not recommend an English language degree. Study in German if you want to work professionally in Germany. That's what I expound in my post.

Hi Duncan,

Thank you for the insight. I understand that taking the German language degree is much more helpful. However, I am planning to complete my studies in 2024 and I will not be able to achieve required German level by the time I start studying. Considering these are my best options, please help me with better university for me to concentrate on.

What about hoschule pforzheim. Is that a good university?

Which one is better Hoschule pforzheim or ESB?

And can you please share your opinion on CBS.

Thank you
