MBA in Kuwait

Jane Eyre

Hi all, am a post graduate student, graduated in 2007 from the AOU, Kuwait in English literature with a high GPA 3.67. Ever since i've been looking for a reputable local university where i can obtain my Master Degree from but in vain cos the majority of Foreign private universities in Kuwait don't have Master programs yet and if they do, it's rather so expensive!
Unfortunately Kuwait univesity don't accept AOU graduates saying that we follow a different study system from theirs and in general Kuwait university don't accept expat students anyway!
What i need is a reputable local university with reasonable or affordable study fees to join in order to pursue my Master degree, and i hope i can find what i want here!

Your feedback is really appreciated..

Yeah, there's not much in terms of good business schools in Kuwait.

Online MBAs can be ok, but there are a lot of them, and most aren't good. So you have to go through the lists, read reviews of the programs. Definitely look at schools that are accredited by AMBA, AACSB, or Equis.

A few good ones to get you started:

ASU WP Carey
IE
Florida Statue
Aberdeen Business School

Many thanks for ur feedback i really appreciate it, but it seems u know a good deal about Kuwait, and here i ask you have u heard of Maastricht Business School , specialized in offering private graduate level business Administration degree MBA in Kuwait? How do u like it? and how much good it would be for me specially that am an English Literature graduate?! bearing in mind it's costly, circa KD 7,400 (Seven Thousand & four hundreds Kuwaiti dinar) for 2 years!

One more thing me too don't trust schools online and this is why i don't go for this option no matter what, but those ones mentioned in ur post seem somehow inviting :) though i wonder if the learning system in them is that of American or Birtish English?! Beside for the final exam do i need to travel overseas for the purpose?!

Also can u tell me what do AMBA, AACSB, or Equis stand for? and what's exactly their role?

Sorry for asking many questions..
