Hi all,
I am an Indian professional with mba offers from university of new brunswick and saint marys university. Can you guys please let me know which of these will be a better choice.
Last year when I began preparing for GMAT I had big dreams but ended up with an average GMAT score of 630, now the thing is that I have done a three years bachelors from India and hence most of the universities rejected my profile. Only UNB in Saint John( new Braunswick ) and SMU in halifax have given me a offer. the rankings of these two are pretty much the same thus I don't have a clear idea of what to do, I have time until the 18th of this month to make the confirmation deposit for university of new brunswick, please help me out guys...
Thanks a lot in advance

What are your goals? Why not top-up your degree with a fourth year qualification, perhaps online or part-time, so you can get into a better MBA?

Thanks for the reply,
well my aim is very simple that is to get a job post mba in international business or consultancy related field with at least an annual salary of 55000 plus, and work there for a few years so that I can repay my education loan and then come back to india for a decent job with 2 to 3 years of canadian work experience under my belt. So that I have some value in the I indian market.
the thing is I have already spoken to a number of canadian universities and they say that 1 year of full time university education is required, and in india masters are for two yrs hence it is not possible at all, if i don't do the mba this year i will never be able to do it. as I am 27 now and I have responsibilities.
currently i have offers from:
Hult ( San Francisco) - i plan to drop it because it's too expensive
Latrobe (australia) - I plan to drop it because stay back options in canada are better
Bradford (uk)- all though it is triple crown but as there is no stayback in uk i plan to leave it as i need to repay the education loan
now this leaves me with last two choices st marys, halifax and University of new brunswick
I am particularly intrested in these 2 because fees for both is 28,800 cad and 24,500 cad respectively (particularly low) and they are offering me scholarships as well.
We all know Indians flock Canadian universities because of better stay back options............
So these 2 are the only options I have and i will be much obliged if any one can tell me which one will be a better option....
thanks a lot for going through all this waiting for your comments.

Hi Prateek,
Both universities you are considering are strong, and have great reputations in Canada. I think your decision will have to be made based on the specialization's the respective programs offer or their area of expertise. From this you can decide which programs offers the best option for the career path you have chosen. You can also check into the type of work their alumni are presently in and see if any match your career goals.
Best of luck as you make this decision.
