Part time MBA

Sanoj

Hello,

Seek your advice regarding my plans for MBA. I have got two graduate degrees in Arts and Law. I have been working in managerial role for over 12 years. Currently working in Abu Dhabi for a government company as an advisor to Vice President. Also, I’m 40 years old. I am planning to pursue an MBA now with an intention to career betterment internationally. My budget is limited to AED 100K. MBA must have accreditation with MoE, AACSB, AMBA and/or EQUIS.

I did market intelligence regarding different options available to get a part time executive MBA in Dubai/Abu Dhabi. I shortlisted:

1. Manchester's global MBA
2. Strathclyde MBA
3. Emirates Aviation University
4. Abu Dhabi University
5. University of Wollongong in Dubai
6. Middlesex University Dubai

Your suggestions in this regard would be much appreciated. Thanks

If you are focussed on international opportunities, then MoE doesn't matter. Focus on AACSB, AMBA and/or EQUIS schools with an international network, i.e. Strathclyde or Manchester. These are both very strong programs.

PS Which has the best alumni network for your goals?

Thanks for your feedback...Finally I have chosen Strathclyde due to the following reasons:

They have triple accreditation and MoE approval
They have a Center in Abu Dhabi
Strathclyde’s program is strong with excellent network.
expensive compared to my budget but it’s value for money...
October intake is over and waiting for next intake in April
thanks

That's a good choice. Almost certainly better than Bradford, which is maybe the school that's most obviously missing from your list.
