South Carolina State University is set to launch a new MBA concentration in Healthcare Management to meet the increasing interest in the industry.

The healthcare sector is now one of the largest private sectors in the US.

The AACSB-accredited program will be offered in partnership with the Lowcountry Graduate Center in North Charleston, which is where the program will be taught.

Graduates will be equipped with the skills to manage staff and technology in a rapidly-changing environment.

The program covers healthcare policy, law, ethics, human resource management, and the structure of healthcare delivery systems.

The Lowcountry Graduate Center is hosting an info session on the program from 6–7:30 p.m. on January 19.
