West Virginia University is set to offer a new hybrid MBA for nurses that can prepare them for future leadership positions.
The course, which can be completed in three years full-time or four years part-time, combines online learning with residencies undertaken on campus.
The MBA classes are run concurrently with nursing classes.
The new program is targeted at working nurses who are interested in future positions in leadership, entrepreneurship and administration.
WVU's School of Business and Economics already offers hybrid MBAs to students studying dentistry and pharmacy.
The advanced nursing/MBA program is accepting applications now, with the first class to begin in August 2017.
Application information is available on the program website.
