Student Loan Service Prodigy Finance Launches Scholarship Program

Postgraduate students using the service are eligible for 1 of 5 scholarships of $20,000

Prodigy Finance has announced a set of 5 scholarships for MBA students, valued at $20,000 each.

The scholarship program is open to students at US and UK business schools who use Prodigy's loans to fund their MBAs.

According to their website, "Prodigy Finance will assess scholarship candidates by scoring them on a combination of academic aptitude and financial need. Only one scholarship will be awarded per academic institution."

Prodigy Finance offers loans to cover costs of attendance. As an example, for students studying for an MBA at Harvard Business School, Prodigy covers up to 80% of the cost of attendance, with a minimum loan of $15,000.

The loans are targeted at international students, with citizens and permanent residents of the US ineligible for Prodigy' Finance's loans.

To be eligible for the scholarships, students must have signed up for a Prodigy Finance loan by November 30, 2016. Terms and conditions on their website.
