UW Tacoma to Launch an MBA Concentration in Healthcare

New electives to launch next spring

The University of Washington at Tacoma's Milgard School of Business has announced the launch of an MBA concentration in healthcare.

For the concentration, students will take healthcare electives during the program's summer sessions. According to the school's MBA program webpage, the healthcare curriculum will include courses such as "Healthcare Information Systems" and "Healthcare Economics."

UW Tacoma's MBA program is a flexible program aimed at working professionals; classes generally meet on weekday evenings, but some full weekdays and Saturdays are required.

The school's northwest Washington location, near Seattle and Bellevue, hosts a wide range of hospitals, healthcare centers, and medical research facilities.
