England's Loughborough University Launches an MBA in Sports Management

New program to cover a variety of topics, from media to sports technology

Amidst the bustle of the Paralympic Games in London, Loughborough University has announced plans to launch a new sports-themed MBA program.

The International Sports Management MBA, which begins next year, will help students understand business and management skills in a sports context. The curriculum covers specialized topics in the sports business, including media management, sports technology, and human resources in sports organizations.

According to a Loughborough press release, the International Sports Management MBA is "aimed at people working in the sports sector, sports and sports-related organisations and/or those looking to pursue a career in a senior managerial role within the sports sector."
