The State University of New York (SUNY) at Oswego has announced the launch of a new dual degree program that combines its BA in broadcasting and mass communications with an MBA.
The new five-year program, which starts this fall, aims to give students both an understanding of the basics of broadcasting as well as a business view of media. This combined knowledge is especially important for students who intend on working in disciplines like marketing, where the skillsets overlap.
By taking the dual degree program, students will save about one semester of course work over a traditional two degree approach.
