Northern Illinois University (NIU) has announced plans to offer its MBA as part of a dual degree program, which will allow students to also receive a master's in international management from the University of Montesquieu Bordeaux School of Management in France.
The majority of the new 12-month program will take place at NIU's Chicago area campus, but students will also have two three-week long travel opportunities to study in France under professors at the Bordeaux School of Management.
The program is aimed at younger students (the average age is expected to be about 25;) and about 20% of the enrollment will be French students, allowing for a diverse, international learning environment.
Classes will meet five times a week, during the day.
