Columbia's EPM caught my eye recently as a $28,000 (or less) part-time program with some strong alumni benefits. You get a smart-looking lifetime email ([email protected]), access to Columbia Business School Alumni Career Services and access to CBS's alumni clubs worldwide. That's a major uplift on similar programs which might normally offer just a LinkedIn group, no access to the core offer for graduates, or a quirky email address that signals the school wants to keep you at a distance (like @haas.executivealumni.berkeley.edu).

The program looks well-designed too: https://eruditus.gsb.columbia.edu/epm/index.php

The sticker cost is $28,000 on that website, but a client was bale to get fees down to $25k for a similar CBS program aimed at CMOs.

Of course that's just one example of many schools with solid alumni benefits, like the UCLA PGPX, but this is te first time I've seen an Ivy League school at this price point. For example, Yale's executive program is around $60k https://northwest.education/yale-global-executive-leadership-program-gelp/

Very interesting, thanks for sharing Duncan.  Do you think the Columbia EPM would provide more value than a good (but not great) online MBA at the same price point (e.g. BU and UIUC online MBA's).  Or do you think the Columbia EPM acts better as a supplement/upgrade to someone who already has an MBA from a less prestigious school?  Appreciate your thoughts.
