I am going to apply to MBAs at UCLA, USC, NYU, Columbia. My profile:
- 31 years old italian
- 2 years of Investment banking at bulge bracket in London (think GS, MS, JPM) in Media&Telco M&A
- 5 years of Private Equity in $3bn shop investing across Europe and North america. Main sector focus Media&Telco
- GMAT 640
- Msc Finance in top European University with distinction, Bsc in Economics at same university. Exchange programs in UCSB and Thailand
- extra curricular: volunteered as basketball coach in development country, executive produced a film accepted at tier 1 international film festival
My main career goal is transition from finance/investing in Media to industry roles in Media&Entertainment where you are "closer" to the operations (strategy, corporate/business dev, start-up roles, and keen to explore others), that's the main reason for my specific focus on NY and LA.
What do you think are my chances to be accepted at those school?
