MBA/ SCHOOL NEED MY Diploma transcript

Mr-T

Hello Board I have a question: I applied to a MBA school that does not require GMAT I have have met all the other requirements. My transcripts is from my Bachelors program at a NYC school. I now get a letter from the Admin department saying that they need my transcript from a school I attended before, over 10 years ago and got 20 credits from. Only 3 were general courses the rest of the 20 were General electives. Why would they need that and i have completed my Bachelors degree from a great college over 7 years ago. Does this seem fair? This was never said in the application that i need to send all transcript just the college i received my degree from. Are they being bias in any way? Just does not seem normal.

Hi there,
So is this a second bachelor's program?I'm not quite sure they'd need a transcript from a program so long ago. I would thnk that the most relevant grades and courses are from your most relevant program of study. However, the fact that ths school does not require the GMAT would suggest to me that they place more emphasis on your school grades, which means they want to make sure you did not flunk your way through the other program. They're probably curious why you did not finish the other program.

This is my hypothesis at least. I don't know much else about your case.

exactly - how else are they going to evaluate you? no GMAT means that they have to look into your past to see how good/Bad you where.
