Can anyone please guide me more about Hult MBA program? I'm looking forward to hear particularly from Hult alumnis or people who have applied for HULT.
This is my brief background:
I have around 10 years of experience and currently working as a manager in equity research department of one of the bigest investment banks. I am CFA level 2 candidate and also have recently got admitted to Certified quantitative finance course by Paul Willmott.
My main objecties from program is to
1. to make even better my presentation and communication skills.
2. to get a thorough understanding about the buisness.
3. to get a multicultural network.
4. to visit different places (To get this point I was initially planning to do the executive MBA offered by IE, Oxfard and INSEAD but I found them very expensive and with only a very little onsite exposure (two weeks in each campus). Though motivation for executive program is to get it while you are working, I would be more interested in 1 year on campus MBA course.
To be frank, HULT was not even in my target colleges list until last month but when I talked with Amdision officer, I was really surprised by the follow-ups, sincere feedback on my profile and a very thorough answers to my questions. He also helped me connect to alumni with whom I am going to talk soon. I was also impressed by the way this school has progressed in recent years.
Now my questions are:
1. Does the school have modern classrooms and advanced equipment? Can I play rerecorded lectures?
2. What is the maximum and mininum scholorship that is offered by the school?
3. How does the college offer career development or employment assistance?
4. How active the alumni network is?
5. Any specific things that I should consider before getting admission?
Your guidance is highly appreciated.

Hi Vanzilar,
I am a current batch student at HULT?s London campus.
My case was also somewhat similar like yours, as HULT was not even an option for me initially, but then a nice follow-up of admission team ensured that I know everything that the program offers. More I learned about HULT more my confidence grew and finally I took the most imp decision of my life. I must admit that HULT has exceeded all my expectations.
Broadly, you shall notice-discover below points about program:
1. 5 global campuses, at key locations (City?s where Businesses & Clients are)
2. Extremely diverse class (500+ batch mates from 100+ countries)
3. Experienced & Best in class faculty (Real Practitioners + from various top universities)
4. Campus rotation opportunity in module C & D http://hult.edu/Global-Campuses/GlobalCampuses
5. Huge scholarships
6. Executive track: http://hult.edu/mba-program/our-program/executive-track
7. Global Case Challenge: http://www.hultglobalcasechallenge.com/
8. Action learning project: http://hult.edu/mba-program/our-program/action-learning
9. IXL centre: http://hult.edu/mba-program/our-program/academic-alliances
10. An extremely active career services & corporate relations team
11. A boutique MBA School focussed only on business programs
HULT truly is a wonderful school, with full of opportunities & promises, and has shown lots of potential in recent years (after a takeover by EF group in 2004) and since then it has been on a very aggressive growth path. And, I am experiencing all this at HULT?s London campus.
Now your specific queries:
1. HULT is unlike a university, with huge campuses, as all its campuses are in city centres, but it certainly has modern classrooms and state of the art tools. View the photo tour at http://hult.edu/home.aspx
2. Individual scholarships are not meant to be discussed, but yes HULT offers huge scholarships if the profile is unique or desired.
3. Career services team gets involved right from the toolbox (1st week) and employs various interesting psychometric tools to help you learn more about your personality and career interests. Various sessions through-out the program keep you focussed on your ultimate objective ? Be Employable. Even just 4 months into the program, we have received few interesting internships opportunities. Always at your disposal the career services team is playing a big role in the journey.
4. Have limited info to talk about. May be an alum can provide some insights here.
5. Learn more about above mentioned points. Would boost your confidence.
Hope this helps!
Cheers!
