Which top b schools are also accepting GRE? If I decide to take the GRE would I stand a lower chance of qualifying vs. if I had opted for GMAT?

The GRE has a list. It's very large these days. But, yes, you will have a better chance with the GMAT. The GRE is generally taken by applicants with a lower chance of converting from accepted candidates into registered students because they are often considering alternatives to the MBA. Often, GRE people are weaker on quant.
