GMAT 670

huab-boy

Any recommendations for an MBA program that I can get into with a 670 GMAT score? USA schools only, please. I have 6 years of work experience in sales. My undergraduate performance was not so good (a B average, basically). I want to work in marketing or as an entrepreneur. I don't want to retake the GMAT but I will if it's important to get a better score.

IU Kelley or Wisconsin would be great fits for you, if you want to go into marketing. Maybe check out Northeastern or Rutgers as well for safety schools.

I would say a higher GMAT score would help, in that with 720+ you could be competitive at a school like Wharton, which of course has strong marketing faculty and well, is Wharton. And a higher GMAT score could make you more competitive for better scholarships at Kelley / Wisconsin.

Thanks. Don't know about Wharton, seems expensive. Wisconsin is really interesting, though.

How do you feel about Babson?

Babson is a decent school, especially for budding entrepreneurs. Not really in the same tier as Kelley / Wisconsin / Rutgers, though, and definitely nowhere near Wharton. Much less traction in terms of marketing careers than the other schools, that's certain.
