Diploma + work experience eligibility

MrPonx

Hi All,

I have a Diploma in Accounting and ACCA Level 1 and 10 years of experience 6 of them in a managerial role. Would I be eligible to apply for MBA in the States? I'm looking for a full time 1 year program.

I have been accepted in few universities in Europe but USA is my preferred destination.

Thank you for your help.

Why don't you ask whichever university you're considering applying to? Seems a pretty obvious answer

I think that very few traditional, accredited universities will accept you. There are many different diplomas in accounting, and I think the qualification you are describing is the Introductory Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting which would not be accepted for entry into many bachelors' programmes, let alone an MBA. For entry into an MBA, I think schools which accepted ACCA qualifications will generally want the ACCA Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business.
