Just heard that College of Charleston will start to offer a new one-year, accelerated MBA. It seems like a good thing, their MSc is really good - but, is it really necessary? I mean, the Citadel is practically just down the street, and there are really good MBA programs at South Carolina State University and the University of South Carolina as well.
My thinking is that one new MBA program in South Carolina is just going to dilute South Carolina business donations and sponsorships even further than they already are.

Yeah except for the fact that their MBA program is now ranked in US News Top 100 after just one year of its opening. How many schools have been in business with this program that haven't been able to crack this list at all. Also Clemson's MBA just dropped off the list. C of C offers 3 weeks out of the country as well as part of the program. They also get their MBA in just over a year. 95% of their students had a job before graduation. Clemson and USC can't even compete with that. Charleston will very soon be the top MBA program in the state.

I am considering the one year MBA program at C of C, but have not been able to find the same information about the ranking of their program as you. Would you please provide a link to show that the College of Charleston's MBA program is now ranked in the US News Top 100?
