what would "Hung parliament" do to MBA grads?

Rhino

Hi all,

I guess everyone know that england is now facing "Hung parliament".
Do you think the economy will recover anytime soon ? So the MBA grads can get good job in U.K.

Note that I used to consider london as my post-MBA target city.
Now I am unsure about even considering london.
or even europe. Thanks to greece debt problem.

Complex economies are a bit hard to speculate on, although I'd wager that the hung Parliament won't help the U.K. very much (look at the U.S. recovery in the 1990s, I'd say that that happened because the Congress and the White House had similar economic visions and didn't bicker as much as they normally do.)

Political bickering may be beside the point, because as you mentioned the Greece debt crisis might accelerate inflation, dragging the rest of the European economies down and increasing consumer prices.

I'd look hard at Eastern Europe though: Czech Republic, and especially Poland. The European Commission seems to think that the Polish economy is in a good place to recover over the next year or so.

I think there wont be any big issues....becoz UK is the biggest ally of US......All parties are going to support US by default....So here comes the question......How are they going to solve internal problems.......I think there could be some changes in policies.....other than that I dont see any issues.....For example ...Just for getting vote how labor party changed the employment rules a month before....

Who knows...new Govt may bring back old systems like....bonus points for MBA graduates from prestigious univ.. and so on...

I think they read the people pulse and reacted... but it was too late..........and they paid for their inefficiency..

And more over since UK has not joined in EU so far.......there wont be any big damage for them whereas rest of EU nations has to share the Greece burden....Greece problem is

1.Huge amount of money was spent by them for Olympics...cant able to recover..
2.Germany has agreed to help Greece temporarily
3.Euro currencies will be undervalued in future
4.Spain and other countries also going to join with Greece
5.Rich countries will share Greece problem to keep the euro currencies in march.

I think becoz of these reasons UK has not joined with EU so far.If UK were a member of EU,naturally it would have suffered....

This is the first time I got an opportunity to participate in a matured discussion...I could be wrong...So correct me if I am wrong..
