The significant thing here is the awarding body. Herriot Watt is a strange one. As far as I can tell, they're not accredited by any of the usual bodies. They say, however, that this is because they themselves don't recognise those bodies, which is in interesting if perverse stance to take. Have you thought about anywhere else in the UK? Here's a link to the FT's European MBA rankings: http://rankings.ft.com/european-business-school-rankings
You'll see it has several schools in the south of England you could consider. WLC isn't one of them.

A college to study English for business, maybe, but not a good place to do an MBA.

why you said, good place to study only English. Any reason.
have you visited the college web site

Yes, I have. More than once. It's a language school which also does a sideline in providing MBAs through the University of Sunderland. It is not what I or most other people would consider a reputable MBA school, even if it is a good place to study English.

I think it's pretty risky to sign onto a public chat and request suggestions for where one should attend school. It seems very few people are asking specific questions anymore. Almost no one is doing personal research. I thought having narrowed our lists of choices amongst the best MBA programmes in the UK, that this would be a place to compare and contrast the strengths of weaknesses of each school, giving prospective students their LAST bit of information needed to make their decisions. Too many people are asking strangers to, essentially, pick a name out of a hat for them. And too many others are suggesting storefront operations that have no business being compared to institutions in Britain that are of international standard.

For the record, I'm not sure £7,000 is enough for a decent MBA. Unless of course you mean to compete for scholarships or apply for loans to cover the remainder of the cost.
An MBA has a greater and faster average return on investment than any other graduate degree. I think if any degree were worth incurring a bit of debt, this would be it. Another reason why the decision on where to go for the MBA is an important one.

I agree Kelly, there are far too many very basic over-simplistic, and often meaningless questions about what MBA to do. Surely if people arent even capable of using basic search engines on the internet to find out about possible courses, they arent really ready to be applying to them.

I agree with both kelly and lukeh... WLC is more known for their HND courses and the other college is a good english school.
But again the points you both raise.. WHY DO PEOPLE KEEEP SKIPPING THE HARD BIT... I mean why does no one want to do their home work.... Its not that hard contacting universities.. comparing them... checking rankings.... financing options... WHY DO PEOPLE EXPECT TO BE SPOON FED.... Whats with that?????

For the record... Oxford House College is a tiny college on a first floor over a shop on oxford street... Its an ENGLISH learning school... THATS THE FIRST thing written on their website...
